This piano is veneered in Rosewood with white maple on the inside of the rim case with the same white maple on the underside of the lid, finished in high gloss polyester. With the veneering and fish-tail case design it's an impressive looking instrument yet retains the playing qualities of a fine Bechstein. Both action and keyboard have been totally rebuilt to latest modern standards with quality materials such as new hammers by Abel. The soundboard is original and fully crowned and finished with new logos. The frame has been re gilded. The piano has new tuning pin block (wrest plank), new tuning pins, new  strings, Abel hammers, dampers and felts replaced throughout. This piano is virtually indistinguishable from the day it was a new instrument. It retains it's original tone which is typical of a fine Bechstein grand piano.
